Class 202 Unit 1018

Above is a rare shot of 1018 with an experimental warning panel. There were a few experiments like this on units throughout the country but this is the first time I have seen this variant

Points of interest :

On the 11th May 1986, with unit 1013, worked the last day of units on the Hastings line, working the final DEMU service from Charing Cross.

On the 20th March 1961 the unit was involved  in a collision with a 4-EPB unit at Cannon Street Station resulting in two of its coaches overturning. The unit returned to service 5 months later.
