97 is now part of the famous Sandite train and is used as the Sandite spreading vehicle.
It had an irrepairable engine problem a few years ago so is marshalled into the middle of the formation and has been fitted with a diesel generator into the former passenger saloon.
It is seen above passing through Lurgan and below in York Road Depot
The interior showing the generator fitted in the passenger saloon and the rest of the saloon can clearly be seen in the other shot.
